Meet your local teamBirmingham South West
Our Birmingham South West class leaders are a team of trained musicians and education specialists who bring singing, real instruments and plenty of fun to every session. Classes are age-appropriate for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, so your little one is always doing exactly the right activities for their stage of development.
Meet Carolyn Lawford
Hello! I’m Carolyn, and I run Rhythm Time classes across South West Birmingham.
My Rhythm Time journey started as a parent—I spent nine wonderful years taking my three children to classes, from baby sessions all the way through to the end of preschool. Those years left a lasting impression and inspired me to bring the same joy to other families.
I’m also a professional musician with teaching experience, and I have a strong background in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), as my middle child has Down’s Syndrome.
Rhythm Time was fantastic for all three of my children—and I’m confident it will be for yours too. Our musical activities support every aspect of early development, from listening and sharing to building confidence and communication skills.
So, if you're looking for fun, engaging classes full of music, sensory play, and plenty of learning along the way, come and join us! I can’t wait to meet you and your little ones soon.
